EasyJet - flight not cancelled yet - credit note

We have flights booked to Turkey for August with EasyJet that have cost over £1000 for two people. We are not happy about going to Turkey with the current situation. We have asked EasyJet could we have a credit note so that we could rebook a holiday package with them for next year. They have said no. The only option we have been given is to transfer flight to another flight, with the majority of flights we have looked at being much cheaper than what we have paid. Are EasyJet in the right to not allow a credit note? They already have our money and we don't want a refund. Feeling very stressed about it all now.

If choose not to fly when you can. Then any offer made is at the discretion of the airline if the booking was made on a non refundable basis.0

If the flight ia operating then it is your choice not go. EasyJet are under no obligation to give you anything. What they are offering is a good will gesture.
