Hi just to ask if any one in same position as me booked flights with Ryanair but hotel we staying not open yet travel insurance which in place prior to covid told us to cancel flights and we could claim monies back as FCO guidelines say not to travel at present Ryanair have a no cancellation policy and if I want to move flights I can but flights are £500 cheaper and not entitled to refund for the difference but I have to pay £300 plus to move flights all flights booked prior to covid any one any advice

Surely your hotel is opening before then? Most businesses there are opening 1st July if they aren't open already. FCO advice will probably change on 6th July meaning you won't have to quarantine on arrival in Spain or UK. So you may still be able to go. You won't have much chance of any refunds if it was possible to go!

I have rang hotel and they not opening the gent said they didn’t know when opening and informed me that only a small amount of hotels have been given permission to open so they have cancelled our booking an family’s bookings when I checked on there website only bookings available from 17th onwards quite few hotels same when I checked.  Thank you for replying.  Yes I was looking to rearrange but it just annoying having to pay for change of flight when if you booked flight during lockdown it free to change flights but not if you booked before covid arrived in UK

Have you been able to cancel the hotel? Did you book them separately? Is the flight you have booked is it still going ahead at this time?

If the flight goes ahead then ryan air won't refund you , they only will if they can't fly. Your only option will be travel insurance then.
