New car Engine
Options
I'm thinking about upgrading my car, just looking for a little more engine power, and built in sat nav system really. I currently have a 2012 1.4 Astra, and now looking at 2017+ Astras but 1.6, am I right thinking I'd get more power from a 1.4 turbo, anyone who's driven these got any good/bad experiences?

It depends entirely on the car - have a look on Parkers for the specifications of each engine variant and compare the BHP to find which makes more power0

Autotrader is a good source. You can look at the performance of each specific car0

I am not familiar with the cars you mention, but as a general guide a 1.4 turbo will be much nicer ti drive than a 1.6 without one. The turbo gives better performance / torque. Both my last cars have been 1.4 petrols with a turbo and you get similar low down performance to a diesel and I generally get a similar mpg (around 45 to the gallon).
