I will go and photograph the site today including all signs etc. The second photo does appear to show the reversing lights are illuminated in the second photo.

It's a very debatable issue as entry and exit photos do not prove any form of parking, but that case hasn't been won

    THERE HAS BEEN SOME PROGRESS

Ah, yes!  Oh, let's check that date - March 2014, over 6 years ago. Even you were a young lad then! 😄

I am sure there are more recent cases.   wonder what Trading Standards would make of it.

The driver has reached out to the establishment and informed them of the situation, they said they would look into it but how long should they wait before
they chase them up as I want to make sure the driver has enough time to appeal.

One other point that I realised is that usually you have to enter the car registration into a terminal inside but as the establishment was closed the driver would not have the option of becoming a patron and entering the registration plate.

Any appeal to an IPC AOS operator is futile, it will be rejected. Send it whenever you want in order to show a Judge (if it ever comes to it) that you attempted to engage with the PPC to try to resolve the issue.  But there's almost no prospect of any success with either of the IPC appeals strata.

    Hi,

just want to thank everyone for their advice, I had contacted the landowner but never received a response so appealed detailing all the points that in my opinion was valid. Received an email today saying they were going to cancel the notice.

    Thanks
Well done. Keep that response safe because it is not over until the scammers say it is cancelled.

In my recent case the judge expected an appeal to the IAS despite all the evidence regards conflict of interest.  It would have helped in my case if I could have said I had appealed.
