EasyJet Vouchers - less than original price paid

Decided to take vouchers on 6 return flights to Turkey that were cancelled. Vouchers received were
£182.45 less than price paid! The “paperwork” is unintelligible, a dozen emails, multiple strange amounts debit and credit, no explanation for difference. Online chat is disabled, no replies to emails, so far over 3 hours on hold to customer services but no answer. Seems many people are experiencing similar issues. Is this a systemic method by EasyJet to keep hold of our money? I think Martin Lewis and teem need to investigate this vigorously and urgently.

We accepted an Easyjet voucher for flights which were cancelled at Easter. This was before they bowed to pressure to give refunds, but we didn't mind too much taking the voucher as we were going to visit my parents in Italy and knew that we would be travelling there again at some point. Now we are trying to use the voucher to book a flight for my husband back from Italy in August (having driven out there) and we are told that we can't use the voucher because it is in the wrong currency (return flights from UK are sold in sterling, one way flights from Italy in Euros). This seems very unfair - has anyone else had the same problem? Has anyone else managed to solve the problem? We have tried phoning Easyjet but left on hold for 2 hours before the operator hung up on us.0
