Employer not paying statutory redundancy

Hi,my boyfriend has been laid off and his boss isn’t paying him statutory redundancy after working for him for 7 years,he’s paid him £300 which isn’t enough and then agreed to pay the full amount but hasn’t,it’s been nearly 2 months,what shall he do?

If he is still refusing you will have to take it further, try CAB or ACAS for further assistance. Be helpful for them if you have already calculated what he should be owed.
