Hello. At the moment our flights woth jet2 are still going ahead but the hotel we’re staying in is shut and will be when we are meant to be out there. Jet2 haven’t told us this we’ve found out on our own. Can we get a full refund as we don’t want to go anywhere else?

If its a package holiday do you really think they will fly you out to a closed hotel? Be patient and wait for them to catch up and officially inform you, understandably all the travel companies will be a bit busy.0

Were the flights and hotel booked separately or as part of a package holiday?

According to the terms and conditions they can change the hotel to a similar hotel, although in the current climate I would be trying for a refund.

Im in the same position, easyjet flights going ahead but my hotel is closed along with many others in Lassi and we dont want to as half the resort is closed. Ive emailed Easyjet and they were no help, said flights are operational. Im going to contact my travel insurance on Monday and see of they can help. Did you book travel insurance before Covid ?0

Our hotel is closed for the rest of the year. Our travel agents phoned us earlier this week to say they’d just heard from Jet2 who had cancelled our holiday. According to the Which website a change of hotel equates to a full refund.0

It says hotel changed significantly not that a hotel has been changed. Which would generally mean to a lower standard hotel.0

The terms and conditions say that you’re entitled to a full refund.0

Until the OP knows what hotel they are being moved to they don't know if they are entitled to a refund or not. As a change to a similar hotel is insignificant according to the terms and conditions, so no refund, change to a lower standard is significant so refund option. I would have thought they would offer an equivalent hotel.
