Holiday changes aren't viable or what I paid for

I am due to go to Lanzarote on 13th July - a family of 4 with a 22 month old and 4 year old. TUI have said that they won't take us if there are any 'significant changes' made to the holiday. However they don't consider significant changes as wearing a mask on the plane and indoors at resort and social distancing in public areas and during group activities and entertainment. How can I be expected to ensure a 22 month old is socially distancing? This would be around the pool and even the evening entertainment where they've advised markings on the floor will show where children can dance - a 22 month old will not stand on a spot! I don't consider my reasons a 'disinclination to travel', its not a viable holiday! I have spoken to many TUI advisors and I'm not getting anywhere. They've offered me a free change to a holiday at a later day but the summer holidays next year are extortionate. Any advice welcome. Thank you.

Significant changes are usually along the lines of change of airport, change of hotel to lesser value/quality of accommodation, from AI to SC all those sorts of things.
Even if you were to holiday in this country a lot of those measures would be in place also. I understand that’s it’s not relaxing to follow that and isn’t what a holiday should be though. Having kept an eye on what our hotel will be doing when we go in October it seems pretty much the same.
Most is the measures implemented have been advised from governments etc, that isn’t really TUI’s fault. Although I can understand your frustration they are correct that if you choose not to go it is disinclination to travel.
The price thing for next year is supply and demand unfortunately, many many people have rebooked for next year pushing the prices up.1
