It largely depends on what council area you live in. Some councils are quite generous with what they expect people on means tested benefits to pay while others are the opposite. I'm on ESA (income related) and would normally be expected to pay about £5 a month but the £500m one-off payment (linked to COVID-19) that the Government gave to all councils to pass on to Council Tax payers who are already in receipt of Council Tax Support has reduced my Council Tax bill to £0 for 2020/21. The payment the Government made was given with guidance that Council Tax bills be reduced by up to £150 per person where CTS is in payment. Did you get a revised CT bill? It may be that your council has yet to re-bill everyone.
I had forgotten about the extra deduction for this year in response to COVID. You are right that many more will therefore have 100% Reduction this year.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Have you not heard anything back from the Council Tax people? Based on your circumstances (assuming you have no-one else living in your household) it is possible that your Council Tax will be reduced to zero while you are on UC and have no other income coming in.

I live in England and claim ESA/PIP and my council tax is about £11 per month. I also receive the single person discount.

Thanks for that, i totally forgot about that. I didn't receive any revised council tax bill so i'm going to ring my local council first thing Monday morning and ask about this.

Yeah, my local council only got around to sending out revised bills 3 weeks ago so some councils are a bit slow getting around to doing this. The fact is that they've had the extra money since the beginning of April so basically they were sitting on that money for over two months while doing nothing with it.
