Rodent repellent plug in device

Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I was looking to see if anyone had any experience as to how affective these plug in rodent repellent devices are?
My parents have bats in their house and we bought a pair of these devices on Amazon for £18.
They arrived today and we plugged them in, just got to wait I guess to see the results.
Apparently they give out a 100 square meter frequency which deters pests like rats, bats,  even spiders etc,  just about all the things not welcome in you're home. But we are curious how well they work.
Thanks in advance.

I suggest that you remove all references to bats - it's highly illegal to interfere with these 'lovely rare' species.
The woman-in-the-pub told me a while back that these devices are reasonably effective, but also said that, although they may prevent various creatures from inhabiting your loft, it won't stop them inhabiting someone else's and then flying into your lounge when you are watching TV at night.

All bat species, their breeding sites and resting places are fully protected by law - they're European protected species.
It is illegal to intentionally kill, injure or take any bat or to recklessly damage, destroy or block up their roosts or disturb them. Because bats tend to return to the same roosts each year, these sites are protected whether the bats are present or not.
You may want to speak to the Bat Conservation Trust at bats.org.uk for advice on what to do, but they're not pests in the same way as the other creatures you list.

With regards to repellent plugs, they're a waste of time and money.  Any effect is temporary and they'll just return a few days later.  Technically speaking most houses have spiders all over the place 24/7 - under the floor, behind walls and other items, underneath the sofa, and only make themselves known at around mating season (typically around the equinox periods).  You also find they're quite "attracted" to CCTV infra-red light, although they can't see it but it won't stop them building a web over your camera.

We tried these in the garage when we had field mice.  Little beggers just chewed through the wires.

The best rodent repellent is still a cat. I got one from the vets when we moved into a house with the little buggers everywhere.  We had looked at a kitten but didn't see one I felt attracted to.  One vet said they had 3 in the back room they were ready to wean off their mother.  We went back to have a look.  Mom and 3 adorable kittens in a cage.  Mom looked at me and stuck a paw through the bars and hooked a claw at me.  I lifted her out and she curled her paws around my neck.  I took her home. Two days later, not a mouse anywhere.  She lived happily with us for 18 years til cancer took her away.

As mentioned, bats are protected by law. Also, most of those plugins do nothing. Lookup bigclivedotcom on YouTube. He's an electrician and did a breakdown of one of these. From what I remember, all it did was have a flashing LED to make you think it was doing something when it wasn't.

I think there you'll find mixed results tbh.
Having said that , you've probably got the message now as to leave the bats alone. 🦇
I have  a pest control 2000. It seems to work for me so far . ( notice how long I've had it 😸). It's like a stereo device as you'll see if you browse online .
I've used it in 4 properties.
What I will ask if you don't mind, is to please not get the bog standard ones that affect birds and cats etc. That's if you're getting one of course..😼

There are many posts on the in my home section about these 😼

You can eat them in China, especially if they're diseased.
I know Domestos kills 99% of germs, but I'm worried about the 1% that got away.

here is one of many very similar  products fro Sean Woods of Mouse Trap Monday fame, who has over 500 videos of catching mice. Think he has featured similar things like these three times, and they have all been useless
