I assume it is a small, possibly private owner company, with one admin doing everything and making mistakes of most things driven by an interfering owner director so even if the admin knew, the director encouraged the mistake hoping to save a few ££0

Hi,
Received an email back from Payroll and another from HR this morning. It appears they did get confused with calculating holiday pay and have done it on calendar days rather than working days (although their sums still didn't add up). Adjustments will be done in the July salary.
