So i decided that i would go through our files and have found out that we could have claimed 30k for my husbands diabetes. We didnt realise it was serious illness we thought it was critical illness cover,
This was over 2 years ago so am assuming we cant but 30k is not to be sniffed at and would be life changing for us.
Has anyone been in this position and been successful as i literally want to cry.
thanks

Without having the policy in front of us we have no way of advising you.
The best thing you can do is contact the insurance company to start a claim.
If you succeed you will get the money - if not you won't.0 -
If you don't ask you certainly won't get it. The worst that can happen is they refuse to backdate the claim. Despite your obvious disappointment, you won't be any worse off than now.
