Car lease problem

Hi there,
anybidy has experience with signing up for a specific car deal, paying the admin fee and then told the car you ordered is not available and then offered other models etc you don’t want? Need to know if I can get my money back . Thanks any advice appreciated.

What do the terms and conditions say?

Well as far as I can work out the initial form that I signed states it is not contractual. However they do have my bank details but nothing has been set up yet. I just really need to get car sorted fast. Did loads of research , chose a model, got told it was all sorted and it was only because I emailed yesterday to ask for an update on the delivery time that I was told the car I had ordered had been sold and that my only 2 options were a diesel ( I requested petrol) with a higher cc or same model in a grim colour.  I was basically told those were the only options.

Just ask them to return your deposit and move on.
