Forced holiday on furlough

I have been on furlough since the end of March. I have had this extended to 31st July. I am on furlough because in my household is my father and wife and both have the Nhs shielding advice letter. My company is still trading as I work in food supply and distribution so I am on furlough for the safety reasons at home. My employer has now given me notice that they are going to make me take my entitled holiday allowance while on furlough. Are they correct and allowed to do this?

Yes they are, as per the 100 other people who started threads to ask the same thing.
As long as double the notice is given (ie 2 weeks for one week holiday)
Given you have clearly been furloughed as a favour, and work has been available for you all this time, I really wouldn't moan about it.2 -
As above I really wouldn’t kick up a fuss over this. They have been until this point very generous in allowing you to be on furlough whilst there is work to be done.3

Yes, they can do this and it is very fair.0
