Flight refund

I purchased flights with Aeroflot through Go to Gate for a holiday that was booked for April. I’m still waiting for my refund because Go to Gate tell me that they have to wait to receive funds from the airline. They have apparently raised a claim request with Aeroflot. When I spoke to Aeroflot they said I was due a refund and I should contact the ticket provider. I’m unsure why Go to Gate aren’t issuing the refund as it was them that I paid. Any suggestions please?

third parties take your money and then pass it to the airline for the ticket. They no longer have your money to refund you so will be waiting for it to be returned from the airline. The airline will refund their customer (Go to Gate) who in turn will refund their customer (you) - probably less their service fees.
Had you booked directly with the airline they would have been able to refund you - although many airlines have long delays so you may still be waiting0
