Hi.. Hoping for recommendations please on a company who could build and deliver an outside cat enclosure  (I would assemble at home). Thanks in advance

You're probably better off getting someone just to come and make one out of wood at you're property. That way it would be the perfect size. Some things made first don't fit when you get them, or are a different size to how you imagined.

We priced them, and have ultimately opted for a local couple to build one for us from scratch. They aren't specifically 'catio builders' but it sounds like this is becoming one of their main services.

It's costing us £660, which is a little more than it would've cost to buy 'off the shelf', but it'll fit perfectly in the space we have plus they're doing a decking repair for us whilst they're at it. I checked with one of the main catio supply companies and we were looking at a 6 week lead time, plus their communication was a bit poor. I understand Covid-19 is making life tricky for people, but the couple we're using got back to us really quickly and could do it before we'd receive the other one.

As much as we would've liked to have DIY it, we lack experience and tools, so there was a risk that we'd end up spending more in the long run if we messed it up.

My son who is not into DIY built ours. He purchased the panels off Ebay. They are 1metre wide x 2.4 high, they are a  wooden frame with wire mesh.  He secured each panel to the next with bolts and bolted each to the floor. The catio is attached to the conservatory again with bolts. It is two panels wide x 7 panels long, one of these being a gate to the garden. He then fixed a cat flap to the conservatory wall, so they can come and go as they will. He finished it off with a roll of chicken wire on the roof, so it is completely enclosed, This is a photo of our two boys on their bridge in the catio.

I looked at that before we built one. They're more expensive and it's more difficult to fit shelves etc, so ended up with my son-in-law building a sturdy wooden one.  I can't remember the rest I found, but there's https://www.omlet.co.uk/shop/cat_products/

Albus in the catio we built. We kept a large buddleia inside - both cats love it.
