Delta Airlines Cancellation/Refund

Like many others it seems my travel plans have been affected by COVID-19.
Booked to fly to San Francisco on 21st July, via Seattle, so LHR-SEA-SFO. The outbound flight LHR-SEA is on Virgin Airlines, onward from Seattle with Delta. Returning on the 11th August direct SFO-LHR with Virgin. The whole trip was booked via Delta Airlines.
If I check the flight status on the Virgin website: https://www.virginatlantic.com/flight-status/schedule/LHR/SEA/2020-07-21 there are no direct flights available on that date so I'm assuming the flight has been cancelled. Currently the SEA-SFO portion of the outbound journey is still operating.
I cannot get through to Delta, either by phone or message via their app. They also seem to have removed the live chat function from their website. They have not contacted me to advise of cancellation, but it seems pretty clear cut if the flight is no longer showing as operating on Virgin's website, plus the USA doesn't seem to be getting a handle on the control of the virus so I can't see anything changing anytime soon. The tickets were booked as non-refundable, but I am expecting that due to them cancelling it I will get a full refund.
Would a chargeback via my credit card be the best course of action at this point?
