Airline has changed flight time

My friend and i booked a flight with TAP (portugese airlines) for the 3rd sept departing from tenerife south airport 12.20pm with a 90 minute stopover at lisbon airport then final destination london heathrow. Today we have had an email from TAP airline stating due to Covid they have changed the flight to 9.00am departure from tenerife with a stopover of 4hrs at lisbon. This new departure time and the 4hr stopover at lisbon is not suitable for us 67yr old women and not acceptable does anyone out there know if we would be entitled to a refund . Many thanks

    A  time change of 3 hrs 20m is possibly not a significant change. And your arrival time at LHR will be within about 1 hr of the original one? 
    Unless you have specific health issues, then I don't see a problem with those time changes, annoying though they might be.  You would be able to have lunch in the transit lounge at Lisbon?
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Indeed, that is an insignificant change, just book the lounge at Lisbon and treat yourselves, pulling out the "we are 67 you know" excuse wont wash.
  • What were the terms regarding flight changes when you booked hotdog?   On the basis that all flights are subject to some changes I agree with previous and they don't seem to be too bad.   Sometimes these things are outwith anybody's control.  
  • Yeh i appreciate your comments the reason we booked a flight for lunchtime which was more expensive was so that we didnt have to get up and leave the hotel so early but hey ho will email airline and see what they come back with
