Virgin Money Credit Card - 0% Balance transfer

I have decided to do a balance transfer to a Virgin Money 0% for 24 months as I can pay it all off in that time, which will help with any mortgage application that I plan to do in a couple of years.
Applied through Experian as I wanted to make sure I had the correct credit score (903) to apply. I have gone through everything online with Virgin and was accepted and received an email saying 'Great news. Your application has been approved.'

| We will email you shortly, confirming any balance transfer(s) you may have asked for along with any additional cardholders you may have added. We will also let you know when your card(s) will arrive and provide you with instructions on how to view your PIN. It has been nearly two days now and I haven't had any email or correspondence. Is this normal or should I get in contact with them? |

I wouldn't worry yet. There's a bit of a bug going round and things are taking longer than normal.
I like the idea of there being a 'correct' credit score to apply though!0 -
Haha I know, I just assumed that it was more of an automatic system and I was wondering if it could've been lost or there was an issue.0

Not what I meant really, I just wanted to make sure my score was okay and wanted Experian to point me in the best directionx81 said:I like the idea of there being a 'correct' credit score to apply though!0 -
Remember to use an eligibility checker rather any reliance on the score, which isn't used in lending. An elgibility checker will at least use some rough actual lender criteria.0

OP how long did it take for you to hear any more from them? Assuming you have!
I applied today and got the same message so I'm interested in your experience. Thanks.0
