Double glazing window wont open . Help !

I have a top opener window in my son's bedroom. The handle turns but the window is jammed on the right hand side only. I checked the window in my daughter's room (same style) and it is the type where the pin comes out of the window into a catch rather than the ones that slide up and down the frame. I hope this makes sense to anyone with double glazing knowledge. It has a big side opener window as well which opens but I cant leave that open as my nearly 3 year old son will definately try and escape through it which obviously what I need to avoid happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the sun is probably cooler than his bedroom at the minute I need to safely get some air in there.

It may simply be a case that the sun has caused the plastic to expand. Try it in the morning after it's had a chance to cool down.

Have him sleep elsewhere tonight and as suggested, try the window in the morning.0
