Holiday Refund

I am due a refund for my holiday that was supposed to be on the 8th May, i contacted the holiday company just after as the gave me a voucher and i requested a refund. To date i still haven't received a refund and cannot get through to the company as they are using online live agents.
As i paid by credit card can i do a chargeback as i really need to get the funds back into my account to pay off before i accrue interest charges?
TIA

We booked a holiday with Hays Travel in January 2020 to America. Full payment made in May 2020. Informed holiday cancelled on 9th July 2020. Initially informed 10 weeks for money back then 28 days. Informed, even though we booked through Hays Travel that our contract was with Funway Holidays (Tour Operator) and they could not give a refund until they received the money from Funway Holidays. Have had various telephone conversations, letters sent to request refund and lots of emails Eventually went on Twitter and email sent to CEO John Hays. Eventually received the majority of money back apart from the £198 deposit, which Hays will not refund until they receive the money from Funway. Have also put a claim in under Section 75 with bank. Unfortunately our financial circumstances change at the end of July, would not have expected this to happen booking through a travel agent, we booked this holiday in good faith and they just seen to be keeping hold of our money0
