Tide Bounce Back Loans

HI Has any NEW Tide Bank customers been accepted or been contacted re their Bounce Back Loan.
Just wondering what the wait was Last update on their website was Mid June and nothing since?

Tide can never give you bounce back loan, they just want lots of people to signup with tide bank ... its kind of trick for people to open an account with tide bank. 

I have been with tide more than a year and  I'm still in the waiting list for bounce back loan.
friend of mine work with tide , they have 0 cases accepted for bounce back loan .... find another way.

Tide have issued bounce back loans (their figures are in the treasury data), however they have now run out of money to issue and are trying to source more funding.

People need to remember that Tide are not a bank, they do not hold a banking license so can not lend depositors money, nor borrow from the BoE.

Tide Bank is the worst bank ever!  They wrote today 7 July 2020 saying "We’ve made the difficult decision to pause lending. Until this morning, we were hopeful that we could secure more funding for Tide Bounce Back Loans. We felt it was our responsibility to let you know as soon as we learned about this news and that we’ve had to make the difficult decision to pause lending and close the waiting list. While we had always made it clear when signing up to the waiting list that we could not guarantee a Bounce Back Loan and have suggested that you should sign up with alternative providers as well, we do know that many of you were counting on Tide. We are very sorry that on this occasion we could not rise to this challenge and meet this expectation."

They are the worst "bank"* ever because they are unable to source additional funds to lend during the biggest financial crisis since since the great depression? Someone needs some perspective.

*Tide are not a bank and do not hold a banking license.

They deceive people encouraging the layman to believe that they are a sort of bank.  This is an eye opener for people to stay with the traditional bank and not depend on this type of organisation "Fintech" whatever they are called.
