Comprehensive PMI - does it cover jaw surgery?

Hi all,
I have quite a comprehensive PMI plan through my employer with unlimited claim amounts and quite a wide range of cover. It also covers pre-existing conditions. I saw my orthodontist today as my jaw has been causing me bother and I get constant migraines because of it, and he has told me to see a jaw surgeon as my problems cannot be fixed with orthodontics alone. My problems are not cosmetic, they are functional and the treatment is required according to my ortho. I have seen two different orthodontists and they've said the same thing.
Do you think this is something a PMI plan would normally cover? I know dental is not included in my plan, and I would happily assume the cost of braces, but would a PMI plan normally cover the surgery aspect if its required for my health?
Thanks

I would think that that is something only your plan provider would be able to answer
What other plans might cover is immaterial1 -
Only your PMI provider can answer that question.
