My Mother-in-law is concerned if she cancels her TUI cruise paid on a credit card that this will:
1. affect her credit rating
2. cause credit card to be stopped; and
3. will be unable to get credit thereafter.
I thinks she's misinterpreted what she heard on ITV This Morning.
I'm looking for some advice, can anyone help?

Yup she has got the total wrong end of the stick there.
On a more practical level....when does the cruise sail? If its in more than 12 weeks all she would lose is the deposit of £200 per person. Payment method is irrelevant.0 -
Her score is only seen by herself and you if she were to show you it.Anoi_f said:My Mother-in-law is concerned if she cancels her TUI cruise paid on a credit card that this will:1. affect her credit rating2. cause credit card to be stopped; and3. will be unable to get credit thereafter.

In any case that is a side issue here, the 3 bulletpoints in the OP are so wide of the mark.DCFC79 said:
