in Credit cards
We had to cancel our planned trip to Australia at Easter 2020 due the Covid19. We did manage to re-book this to go at Christmas 2020. My question is - if the virus is still prevalent at Christmas and we unable to travel due to this, then would be able to claim our fare back from the credit card company. We initially paid for this in February 2020. I'm just not sure if there is a time limit to claim on credit cards.
Thank you

The time limit relates to the product or service in question.
If the company cancel the trip and does not refund, you can put in a section 75 claim.1 -
In the 1st instance you claim would be with the travel company/travel insurance.
You have 120 days from date of debit or future dated event, up to a max of 540 days to start a chargeback.Life in the slow lane1
