Does Easyjet changing departure airport constitute cancellation of my original flight booking?

Hi. EasyJet have changed my flight to depart from Gatwick rather than Luton. The flight is to Inverness and departs July5th. Scotland is not ‘opening’ for tourism until July 15th so no point going. Am I entitled to a refund rather than flight change that I am being offered? Is the flight change tantamount to cancelling the flight that I booked? Thanks for any advice

check the easyjet t and c first - what do they say about change of airports?
in any case i would say luton to gatwick is a material change and you are entitled to a refund, same as if they had changed the departure airport to aberdeen!0 -
Luton is classed as a London airport if I remember correctly so I believe it’s a case of they can do that without it being eligible for a refund as airlines can move around any London airport for flight changes and it won’t be classed as a significant change.0

Stansted and Southend is also advertised as London, buy would like to go to Southend instead of Gatwick? I would press for refund.
