Accepting another job whilst being made redundant.

I am currently being furloughed and have been told that I am now being made redundant. I am due to receive my notice on the 31st July. Can I accept/start a job with another company in the meantime without it affecting my redundancy pay?

Without it affecting your redundancy pay yes, notice period would depend on your employer. But generally most won't be bothered  as you are furloughed anyway.

If your employer finds out you have accepted another job, your redundancy notice may never arrive

Read up the rules on counter notice during notice period. 

A redundancy can be withdrawn right upto the date of termination you need to close that option for the company
