ANDANTE TRAVEL / HISTORICAL TRIPS OBERAMMERGAU

We have a 5 day holiday planned to see the Passion Play in Oberammergau at the beginning of August. The play has been cancelled since March, but we have not had a cancellation from the holiday company. The company has said it will contact us a few days before the travel date. Anybody else had a similar experience?

Not a lot of info John, like is it a package holiday, including the play, and who did you book with?    but I would say plenty of people in similar situation.     Love Holidays for instance are still only working up to 30 June!   Anybody due to travel after this are having to wait for contact from them.

Thanks Tedbear. I am worried they will try and alter the holiday to not include the Passion Play. The play is the only reason we booked it. Thanks again for your advice.

They may try John, but if the play is part of the package then you should be able to claim a refund due to not being able to offer you the holiday you paid for.   The hard bit is sitting tight waiting to hear from them but as I said, hundreds of people in same situation.   It is very much a waiting game at moment.
