Smart Bulbs 2 x 4 x E14's required for new light fittings.

Recently changed our 2 x ceiling pendant lights in the lounge for 2 x light fittings that each hold 4 x E14's - Thus 8 new bulbs required.
We have Hive heating and lights elsewhere, but even in the current Hive sale, we are still talking £119 for the required 8 x bulbs.
So looking for recommendations for alternative options.
8 x E14's candle bulbs required for the same room, white only, dimmable.
Only need to be controlled by Alexa, and be grouped to 2 x 4's.
No room at router for another bridge (run out of electric sockets)
We use a BT Mini-disc mesh system for wifi around the home.
The light switch is wired 2 gang 2 way. (Did try a smart switch, and whilst i have 2 x neutral feeds, the switch i tried didn't do 2 way, and had problems connecting to the wifi)
Any ideas for an alternative to Hive which costs less?
Thank you

There are some HERE otherwise ebay for cheap ones....I've not purchased any from that site, so, not a recommendation, but, they have a good TrustPilot score.
