Better protected by booking accommodation with rynair or separately?

As the title suggests is it better to book flight and accommodation (and/or car hire) in one go with rynair?
My main concern is if rynair were to cancel the flights then they would have to also cancel the hotels as it's all part of one package?

Could rynnair cancel the flight and refund but NOT the hotel/car hire?0 -
Car rental with Ryanair?
Are you sure?
Check reviews on TripAdvisor before you even consider it. The name Goldcar appears along with other dubious companies.0 -
Ok forget the car insurance - I don't think i'll bother booking with rynair (even though the underlying company was a decent one), how about flight and hotel with them? Surely if they cancel flight they'll have to cancel hotel too?0
