Just been told I'm at risk of redundancy, advice needed

Hi all, I'm currently furloughed and this morning I had a group consultation with 18 other staff regarding possible redundancys. From my understanding the consult period will be approx 3 weeks and I have been told I can apply for a new role in the company, which I don't think it's a guarantee that I will even get it. The new role leaves me with no flexibility as I have a 11 year old child. Also the new role requires me to work 5 days out of 7 instead of the 4 days i currently work with set days and shifts. I will drop down to 25 hours from 32 and i will drop down from £9.62 per hour to £8.72. What happens if i dont apply for a new role? I'm 45 and been with the company for 21 years.

By default you'll be made redundant unfortunately. The company cannot maintain roles for which there is no requirement.1

How long have you worked there? An employer who intends to take the actions they are proposing are on the slippery slope. You may take a cut and find yourself worse off when the redundancy is recalculated later.Employment is a contractual relation and you should give your employer the same courtesies that they are giving you i.e. none.
- All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
- When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
- "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere

Also as I'm currently furloughed will my redundancy pay be calculated on my furlough pay? I know notice pay is questionable0

Notice pay would probably be at your furloughed rateYou'll have to cite that.
