HELP - CST Law Letter before claim for more than 3000£
I work in a restaurant where the back street is private street but we still have exit and access to the back door of the restaurant. I used to deliver goods from other branches for years and was leaving my car there without any problems. Suddenly this changed and i started getting parking tickets. Then i saw that Euro car parks installed camera on the entrance. I would get ticket even if i enter just to drop some goods. very quickly managed to build a lot of parking tickets in short time and then i stopped going there. I don't know what to do now. I have another car now and don't own the car i got fines with. I am very nervous as the amount of money is over 3K. I don't think i have grounds if i go to court.
I filled the LBC reply form and will post it tomorrow with requesting all PAP documents. I read many forums and i marked that i don't know if i owe this money and i will look for debt advice.
My worries are that CST law will chase me to the end to recoup over 3000 pounds, and also CCJ is not acceptable as i will have to re mortgage my house next year.
Please give me some advice what is my next steps and what to do.
Thank you.

- not owning the car any more is irrelevant
- have you read the newbies thread? Yes or no. Its back on the first page, very difficult to miss.
Your opinion on whethetr you have grounds or not is not that relevant - you're doing what everyone does, and assuming theyre on a loser until they start reading about this scam
As fotr a CCJ - even if they take you to court, and you lose, there is no ccj if you pay up in full.2 -

The advice to ignore PCNs has not been given here since the law changed in 2012, so I'm not sure why you thought that was a good idea.
They are not fines.
What happened when you complained to the landowner? That is your best chance of avoiding court.
As above, read the sticky thread for NEWBIES, especially the guide to court written by bargepole in the second post of the NEWBIES. Also read the sticky thread about all cases where the scammers have added on fake amounts which are an abuse of the court process.
Please tell us how many PCNs you have, and how much they are asking for on each one. Anything over £100 per PCN is not allowed.

Who are instructing CST, Euro Car Parks or DRP?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

These are not fines, they are invoices from an ex-clamper to compensate them for the alleged harm they suffered when you did what you did. We call it a scam. Pay them not a penny unless a judge so orders it.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up,
Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.
