Easyjet cancelled our flights due to leave 18thMay! We requested a full Refund which they confirmed would be paid within 28 days, we are well past that now, major problem Easyjet have locked up their call center ? They have left a recorded message to call back later
they simply cut you off ? Have tried day and night impossible get through and talk to someone.
to whom can we complain to officially ?? thank you

In all honesty a complaint to easyJet won't do anything.  They are snowed under and a complaint just adds to the workload.

In theory you could complain to the CAA as easyJet are in breach of EU261 which entitles passengers to a refund within 7 days.   Again I doubt it's worth the effort though and would have little difference.

You're in the same situation as thousands of others.  I know that's little consolation, but its the reality of it.  If you paid by debit or credit card you could try a chargeback or Section 75 claim.

  • Assuming you pay them by card then ask your card company for a chance back

google it for your card first because different cards have different procedures - Barclaycard for example you can do it online save waiting in a call centre queue

Based upon those dates and my experience you are probably only a week away from your refund being processed......

Have you tried to go through the Airline Dispute Resolution procedure - https: www.aviationadr.org.uk completing-the-form-eu .  It covers Easyjet and I got a full refund in cash for a "non-refundable" cancelled KLM flight scheduled to depart in mid April.  It takes a bit of time, and for me KLM continued to complain but did pay up when the compliant when to the arbitrator.
