Redundancy and Notice Pay

I really hope somebody can help with this question. I have just been told I am being made redundant. My employer says it is only going to pay me furlough rate over my three month notice period and not my contracted rate. Is this correct and can they do this?

Thank you fo this Calcotti. Some heavy reading. I guess, in summation, it says that the law while unclear would probably be weighted in favour of the employee and that notice period would should be settled at pre-furlough contracted rate? Thank you for attaching the link.
