Backdated Business Insurance?

I have outstanding invoices from a client and it's highlighted that I don't have insurance for consulting work I run through my company.
Are there any known insurers that can cover backdated, with potential disputes outstanding?
Policybee are getting back to me in a couple of days, but I want to speak to as many as possible to get cover.
Thanks MSE

What do you mean by "potential disputes outstanding"? If they are disputes that you you know about and they could lead to a claim from your insurance, then there is not a chance that an insurance company would take you on and then pay out for those claims. PII insurance companies will make extensive searches to find out if you have knowledge of any potential claims and have not told them immediately they become known to you.0

Have to agree with that. Exclusion for pre-existing situations is pretty universal. You'd have to declare every potential claim or dispute at the proposal/application stage.Mistral001 said:What do you mean by "potential disputes outstanding"? So yes there is a potential dispute, but it's just potential currently. Very frustrating and massive oversight not having insurance.Mistral001 said:What do you mean by "potential disputes outstanding"? Guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed then.

I would not just keep my fingers crossed, but get insurance in case something comes up with other clients /projects in the future. Enter into a conversation with a PII broker and be totally open. The good ones can be very helpful in these situations.0
