Morning everyone
Just having a cuppa while I'm waiting for my bedding to finish washing. I'll get it hung out and then I'm going to walk into town to collect a prescription. I'll call for some bits of shopping at asda on the way home. Cloudy but warm here - I might get a potter in the garden this afternoon. Almost finished my book so I'll read later too.
Working tomorrow morning.
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning campers, the sun has got his hat on again. Sorry to those without, but I am trying to send some your way. Some of our shops opened yesterday, with more due to open in the week and according to our local rag, there were some big queues in town, mainly outside clothes shops. I think I'll stick to online shopping for the foreseeable. I certainly don't need any clothes..... if I put any more in my wardrobe it will fall through the floor
Rang the pharmacy this morning to sort out our meds and surprise, surprise, mine are there but not Mr Fix It's, it's usually the other way round. They will sort it out with his surgery and then ring or text when his is ready, can't fault that service !Today more gardening I think and as it's still too wet to mow the lawns I'll take the tarpaulin off on the side garden and try to level more soil. I have the barrow ready and waiting as I think I may need to distribute some soil around the garden. My elbow still isn't at full strength, so I will strap it up and see how I get on.It is nice to read about lots of people on here meeting family and friends once more.RedRuby good luck for today.Snoozer I'm still disinfecting food stuff too.Camelot enjoy your day and your packed lunch.Take care all. Hugs to those in need.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently13 -
Morning all.... just! Realised I never even got on here yesterday so been catching up with you all.Ruby hope the results are favourable, thinking of you today.Snoozer, I'm still disinfecting too.By the time I've carted it all in, it usually takes an additional hour to wipe down and put away & am ready for a lie down
I've got a family visit today too, my niece is bringing her 2 boys , parking up at ours and we're walking to the park, haven't seen her since little ones 1st birthday party towards the end of Feb. She's hoping he'll have a snooze in his pram on the walk up. Tomorrow a friend is doing the same but she'll park on the car park at the park as her mobility isn't great, and I'll see her there. Hopefully we'll find at bench to sit at opposite ends!Have a good day all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)13 -
The arbour is ready for visitors. Dusted the cobwebs off the tree that gives it the shady nook. Fairy lights are up as well so everything should twinkle, Chez Nous. May good fortune smile on those who are anxious or worried.Sausages for tea, OH will cook as I will be in the garden. He hates the sun so I said "you do the inside jobs" and he said OK. Suits me.11

Afternoon all, a very hot and sticky night here, I woke at 4am and had trouble getting back tossed and turned for an hour and was drifting off when one of the cats decided to settle in the crook of my knee - just what I needed but she was purring away and I didn’t have the heart to move her.Really warm today so will be staying in the cool and drinking plenty. Washing to hang out shortly then it will be back to my book until it’s time to put the chicken Kiev’s in the oven , will have them with more salad.
Loving all the talk about mugs, I don’t mind about colour or patterns but do like a really thin bone china one.46,484 > 0(January)

Positive thoughts to you RedRuby.Snoozer, yes, I disinfect the shopping too.A good day here, lots of work done and a tech glitch sorted courtesy of our amazing IT dept who respond really quickly as we’re working from home. Really appreciate them.Enjoyed my dog walks today. Not too hot here yet.Walked to a large TescCo and it was ok. Glad to have done it as I wanted flowers and got some lovely freesias. I’ll keep to the smaller Sains though and DH likes going into Lidll. Also bought a pack of pants as 3 pairs have holes!Had a bigger lunch then just small toasted sandwich for tea. Seems to suit my digestion.Take care all and keep plastering on the suncream X6
