I'd 1/2 reccommend this account. I would because of the rate, and once up and running, there are few problems. I wouldn't because of the problems of getting it to that stage.
Make sense?Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
Paul_Herring wrote:5.4% as the title of the thread suggests. I have the majority of my 'savings' in this account - it seems that once you get over the hurdles of opening the account, there are no real problems. (Notwithstanding the complaints made elsethread about joint accounts, getting passwords etc.)

Do people think this is stable enough to put in more than 31,700 (well, £,2000 to be totally sure)?
And do transfers out work OK with no delays?0 -
$17mma wrote:PaulThanks for your feedback but I beleive you are wrong the account is now offering 5.15%. Maybe it is to new customers.
The previous rate was 5.4 for everyone. The rate today is 5.15 for everyone. It is a variable rate; it dropped shortly after the base rate was last dropped. It's still the best instant access rate around, barring the regular saver accounts.0
