Holiday refunds

We booked our holiday for April '20 by booking flights through easy jet, an apartment and transfer through a company in Nice, France. We have rebooked our flights for next year through easy jet. Our insurance is with Stay Sure/ AXA who are now saying we are not entitled to a refund from them as we booked a package holiday and should be compensated by the company we booked with. Can you please tell me if this is correct as we don't believe we booked a package holiday. Looking forward to your reply.

If you booked flights directly through Easyjet and accommodation entirely separately via a different company then that's not a package in any meaningful sense, as there isn't one company responsible for the whole thing. Exactly who are the insurer suggesting you seek compensation from?1

Perhaps you weren't clear in your explanation of your claim to staysure.
You should have separate email from easyJet and the other companies cancelling the holiday .
Resubmit and attach copies proving it's not a package.Ex forum ambassador
