According to the BBC.
I guess this will make things easier for a number of people as it’s a case of return to work or quit!

I'm also looking forward to it, my first shift will probably be the 1st of August (Saturday is one of my days). I would go back a little sooner (not too much) but my employers decided after doing their risk assessment that the answer was no.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
  • I'm feeling both very positive and slightly nervous about it.

I think the thing to remember, for anyone who is nervous, is that shielding is being lifted because it is safe to do so.  If you were safe in February before it all started, you should be safe in August with basic social distancing measures.

Being aware of what had been set up in work from the start, the risk for me was really low and I could probably worked throughout if my employer had allowed it. I travel to work in a car so no danger from that and the separation in work was naturally there for the majority of work area.
