    No probs, the reason I used felt is because you dont even have to sew, you can just glue the points together, even easier.

    hi you can get the men's shoes 'ali baba' style in asian clothes shops-all the men in my family have at least one pair as they are popular at asian weddings and eid etc

    they are usually gold

    dont know where you are but im in manchester and there are loads of shops in rusholme and cheetham that sell them
