Surely nobody needs reminding what to use butter or margarine for. Is the real reason for the change because it tastes nowt like butter?
I do remember when Stork why through the same process of claiming it TASTES LIKE BUTTER through to selling it as a cooking margarine (not fit to eat)

    That article is three years old and was just a marketing ploy to get people talking about it.

    If you buy supermarket stuff that's hardly surprising but there are some really good, nice butters available even in supermarkets if you look.
    Or you could make your own; it isn't difficult.

    Spreadable pseudo-butter is bad enough but any marge is TBH pretty dire in comparison to butter.
