weird printer issue

I have 3 laptops at home 1 running windows 7, the other 2 windows 10 and a brother printer DCP-377CW. I can print from the windows 7 using either the usb cable or wirelessly but neither of the windows 10 laptops will print. I can use the scanner on any of the computers and it will work. I borrowed my dads printer as I thought mine was dead and that worked on the windows 10 computers.

There been a windows 10 printer spool problem as Microsoft issued an update that contains a bug, it’s possible that is related to that. The update needs to be un Installed or find the fix and install that

Thanks - I've got 1 working again, the other one need the IT from my wife's work to do it.

Have you set the printer up on the Windows 10 machines?

On most all-in-one units the scanner and the printer are two entirely different devices and its possible to have the scanner working and not the printer, or the printer working but not the scanner.  There are normally two different packages.

Just an update the IT at my wife's work installed the update on her laptop and that is printing again too.
