Air Transat changing flight date

Hi, I have a holiday booked for the 4th to Toronto return via air Transat. I have just received a email from air Transat.

says outbound and inbound dates have a changes, either I can accept or get voucher.

ideally I want my Monday back. I bought by a CC have have banking Travel insurance.

what are next steps?

In a similar position, can see flights no longer available in revised schedule but no official confirmation as yet. Booked via Canadian affair, who state they will be in touch and not to contact them.

Looking for a refund in view that original flights have been cancelled.  

Would be interested in gaining any advice too please.

Air Transat are not offering refunds to anyone. The only way to recover your money is to wait for confirmation that a refund is not possible and then apply for a chargeback from the card you used to pay for the flights.

There is no simple answer to your question, it depends on the card issuer, Amex within a week or less, Barclaycard currently a 'very long time' due to the overwhelming number of applications!

Got a very quick charge back from Barclays for  a cancelled Air Canada internal flight it was all done online

Any updates on your successful with the chargebacks?  I’m still awaiting Canadian affair to admit that the flights have actually been removed from AT’s new schedule, despite me chasing them with this information.  Now they are non longer responding to my requests.
