Natwest

Options
Has anyone applied to Natwest recently and have any idea of timescales etc?
Also if you go through broker is the DIP a hard search as I've read previously?
Application went in Friday so nothing showing on credit file as of yet.
Thanks all x

Went through a broker.. applied for dip in February.. application submitted 7th April and valuation instructed 8th April and mortgage agreed on the 9th April subject to valuation. Then it went quiet!.. I started chasing for valuation to be done after lock down easing because of new build property. Valuation was booked for 29th may , submitted same day. Offer was issued on the 4th June. I completed on my house on Friday 19th June. Hard search was done on dip but since submitting, another search was done again on the 7th April.

I have recently applied for a remortgage through Natwest. In order to buy out the remaining share of my apartment from the housing association. I received a DIP on the 17th June (noticed a hard credit check) and then broker formally submitted my application Friday (noticed a soft credit check). Now the waiting game starts

Went with a broker and everything went very very smoothly, about two weeks from first contact to mortgage offer.

Has anyone else had a recent mortgage offer from NatWest? They told me that my mortgage has been approved subject to valuation (booked for 20th July). I’m wondering how long it might take to get the formal offer after this.

    Thanks

Hello! Our valuation was done on a Thursday and we had the offer Tuesday morning :)
Was impressed with Natwest, 10 days from application to offer.
We are moving in next week!

Does anyone know the criteria which Natwest use to decide on desktop vs physical valuation? I've had the valuation today which was physical, I'm just wondering how they decide.
