Major Mobiles for new iPad?

Elderly relative is looking to buy a new iPad as his is one of the first edition and so old now it won’t update further than IOS 10.  Money is tight and he is 75 so we’ve been looking around for him. I’ve come across MajorMobiles.com.  Has anyone used them pls? I always buy most electrical items from JL with 2 year guarantee but this is quite a good saving hence asking if anyone else has used them.  Trust pilot give them 5 stars - if that is worth anything?  Many thanks.

I got my iPad from them a couple of months ago, the price seemed too good to be true but I was comforted by the fact I could buy using PayPal. (Was only £259 at the time, now gone up to £288) The sealed Apple box came with a continental 2 pin plug, but an adapter was included by MajorMobiles.  I didn’t bother with paying extra for the quicker delivery, just opted for the free standard delivery, and was surprised when it came a couple of days later.
Verified serial number with Apple and confirmed all legit.

Does it have to be an ipad or have you considered a cheaper android tablet? There is a big range of tablets from Lenovo and Samsung which may be suitable. 

Alternatively, to save some cash you could always look at the refurbished section on the Apple store if you want to stay with them. That way you know exactly who you are dealing with.

Address on the website resolves (on Google Maps) to a company called Forward2me Ltd. whose address seems to be 11 Green Lane West, not 46454 which appears to be a made up number.

I have also had a little look at this online. Their address leads to a small set of industrial units:

A quick look on companies house shows in an inordinate number of limited companies registered to these units (perhaps 300 or so?).  I don't think I'd trust it personally - Trustpilot can be manipulated.
Maybe try Amazon Renewed for a refurbed iPad?

Thank you everyone for your comments.  We suggested  he went with Apple refurbished, just in case!

CHEAP IMPORTS; Major Mobiles sell phones which are imported from Panama at a fraction of price. Therefore, the frequencies are not appropriate for UK market so phone reception will be significantly impaired. Plus some functionality is not available such as Samsung Pay. No refund after 30 days despite advertised. AVOID!
