    As long as demand outstrips supply, prices will not go down.  It's in the interest of producers to ensure that there is not an oversupply which would lead to a price drop.  The best that can be hoped for is price stability.

    Although classical economics would predict that high prices should encourage new entries to the market which would in turn give a possibility of lower prices.   But don't count on that having a rapid effect.
