Auto Insurance (Motorbike) - A little confused

Let me lay the grounding for this confusion.
Back in 2019 (end of year) I had an auto collision, my front brakes failed (this was settled out of court by the manufacturer) which resulted in an at fault collision (rear ended someone). At the time, aside from the brakes, nothing else was wrong with the bike. As such, garage (manufacturer garage) replaced the brakes free of charge, settled out of court and I also continued to be sponsored by this manufacturer competively on my other bikes.
fast forward 2020, I noticed two subframe cracks on the bike. As a result I notified the insurance this could be related, they agreed and said to keep them posted. Manufacturer actually sent a recall out after inspecting and stated this was unrelated and as such they are going to swap the frame of the bike (getting shipped from Europe).
Insurance is however saying the bike has to be considered a write-off, even though it has been deemed a recall issue with the bike, no expenses to me and the manufacturer has stated it was not collision related damage.
Has anyone got any idea as to where I should be looking in terms of where I stand, who to contact, etc?
