Proof of address, when just moved in with parents?

Good afternoon.
you’ll have to bare with as this is a bit of a long winded question.
Basically we are currently living in a house that is owned by my dad, we have just accepted an offer on it as we have to sell this property for dad to then gift us the deposit for our first home brought together, so we’ll have to move in with my parents for a month or so first before applying for a mortgage on a new property. My question is when banks/ solicitors ask for proof of address we’ll not have any bills or official documents as it’ll all still be associated with our current home, is there a way around this?

For the current sale you will use your current address. When you move in with your parents make sure you update your address with your bank and you will then be able to use a bank statement as proof of address when purchasing the new property.

It's free (and a legal requirement) to get your driving license updated. It's never taken the DVLA more than a few days to send my new one out (current timing may vary though).
