Do I need to mention an accident from a work car on my private insurance?

Hi all,
Just a quick question. I am looking into getting my first car under my own insurance but I had a mild fender bender in a work car a few months ago and I was wondering if I need to make the insurers aware of this still as it was in a work vehicle? I do not know if the other person involved ever claimed (this was my fault btw) as I never heard anything after the accident. Just wanted to check.

All incidents must be declared.0

Ask your company transport dept if anything was ever claimed.
Did you have to give details etc at the time.
But as above it is in your trms and condition you have to declare any incidents. Read the small print and and answer truthfully or it can all come back and bite you if you ever have to claim and they refuse because of non disclosure.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

The insurance is based on the risks of the individual driver ultimately.0

Yes you have to declare it.
The third party also has 6 years from the date of the accident to claim the costs for the damage and commence court proceedings if it's not settled.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Yes, you need to declare all accidents that you're involved in, regardless of who, or what, was at fault. Pretty much all insurance providers will have a clause in their policy requiring you to declare any incidences you're involved in while driving in the past 5 years.

It is really not worth the risk. You will be in deep !!!!!! if and when insurer finds out."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
