PPI FROM BANK OF SCOTLAND HELP NEEDED

Hi everyone,
appreciate your help in advance i have submitted a complaint for PPI, i have now received a reply for PPI.
I Initally found a LIFE CARE charge on the Bank Of Scotland loans for £2726.50 added to the loan in 1999.
So complained about this and asked them to look into the loan.
I have now got a letter back with redress offer of £4983.01, however i feel like this is too low. I was expecting around £9000 mark.
But in the letter they are offering money for when no PPI was held, I attach the photographs of the letter.
Appendix B shows their calculations, but if you look at loan 2, there is a figure of £3116 for the cost of ppi, and loan 1 for £2726.50.
I am really lost here, can someone please help.
you can message me for links it wont let me post

On what basis were your expecting £9,000?
the figures will have been set out in the appendices and any amounts offered will have a rationale.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0
